However, it will take decades for Germany to safely and permanently dispose of the legacy of the nuclear age. One of the essential actors in this process is BGZ Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Zwischenlagerung mbH. BGZ is responsible for storing radioactive waste until repositories have been established. BGZ was founded in 2017.
