Then the third BGZ Student Day is the right place for you! The event is intended to allow you to talk and hold discussions in a friendly atmosphere – and there will also be many networking opportunities.

To facilitate the exchange of information in a relaxed atmosphere, a Networking Dinner will take place on the evening of 18 April in Munich’s Schwabing district near the Münchner Freiheit. The exact address will be provided.

Following the programme, you can take part in a tour of the FRM II (Research Neutron Source) on 19 April at 2 p.m. Registration for the Student Day will shortly be possible here.

in a guided tour from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Travelling by public transportation:

From Munich City Centre, take the U6 subway to the Garching-Forschungszentrum stop.

From Munich airport:

Take the S1 to Neufahrn, and from there, take bus 690 to Garching-Forschungsgelände. Alternatively, take the S8 to Ismaning, then the 230 bus to the Garching-Forschungszentrum stop.

We recommend reserving a hotel room in the Schwabing district, as this is where the networking dinner will take place. Hotel rooms in Schwabing will be reserved quickly, so it is advisable to start looking for a hotel now.
