ESK statement on the necessity of the Konrad logistics centre and the Würgassen site
The Nuclear Waste Management Commission (ESK) has once again confirmed the need for the Konrad logistics centre (LoK) for the rapid final storage of low and intermediate-level radioactive waste. The ESK also considers BGZ’s selection of the site at the former Würgassen nuclear power plant to be comprehensible.
